Description

This project involves the construction of a new subsurface wastewater treatment and disposal system at the Cassadaga Job Corps Center in Cassadaga, New York. It also includes the demolition of the current sludge wastewater treatment system after the completion of the new system. The estimated cost range is $250,000 to $500,000. The estimated completion time is 200 calendar days. Plans and specifications will be available on or about January 25, 2001, from the office of the U.S. Department of Labor/ETA, C/O N.K. Bhandari, Consulting Engineers, 1005 West Fayette Street #4, Syracuse, N.Y. 13204. Contact Mr. James P. Resig at (315) 428-1177 for additional information regarding this project. Collect calls will not be accepted. It is emphasized that requests for plans and specifications shall only be directed to N.K. Bhandari, Consulting Engineers to ensure proper handling of requests. Requests must be in writing and bid deposit is not required. Request will be answered on a first-come, first-serve basis until supplies are exhausted. For requests made after the supply is exhausted, the Contracting Officer may determine whether payment of a fee is warranted. The non-refundable fee shall not exceed the actual cost of duplication of the IFB documents, plus COD charges. Pre-bid Conference is scheduled on February 8, 2001 at 11:00 A.M., local time at the Cassadaga Job Corps Center. The Bid Opening date is scheduled on March 1, 2001 at 2:00 P.M., local time at the Architect/Engineering office mentioned above. This is a 100% Small Business Set-Aside acquisition. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code is 234990. The size standard is $11.5 million.
