Description

This is a modification to original submission No. 5065Z8, dtd 11/14/00 with a solicitation # N00102Q02909981. The specifications have been amended to the following: Item 0001: 1 LOT includes (1200) regional numeric pagers with a standard coverage of the Northeast region of New England, north from Bangor, ME., south to the NY border. All pagers must have local (to the Portsmouth Naval Shipyard)telephone access capability. PNS will designate a number of the total that must have one emergency recall # assigned in addition to pager standard telephone number. PNS will only be charged for pagers actually delivered. Balance to be held in reserve with vendor until requested at no charge to PNS. Also required will be (35) regional alphanumeric pagers with the same capability as above numeric pagers. Also, required are (50) nationwide numeric pagers with same requirements as above, except with added city link capability. Also, (10) pagers with nationwide alphanumeric function as above capabilities. Also, (45) 3rd party dispatch for the (35) regional alphanumeric pagers and the (10) nationwide alphanumeric pagers. Also, (3) group recall pagers with capability to recall multiple(approx. 250) pagers w/password, for alerts & drills. All quotes to include the above (6) items listed as a seperate monthly fee for each item. This is a "all or none bid". Also include operator dispatch assistance which is an estimated amount of monthly fee for misc. alphanumeric operator assisted pageing. This contract is for (12 months).
