Description

FSC: S222 SIC: 4953 NAICS: 562212 Watervliet Arsenal has a requirement to remove and dispose of trivalent metal hydroxide process sludge from surface impoundments (approximately two (2) beds each year). Specification KS3253 applies. Base year is CY2001, with two (2) option years potentially extending performance through CY2003. Sludge is non-hazardous NY Code N111, F006 delisted by EPA 10 Jan 86. Government will provide toxic characteristic leachate procedure (TCLP) analytical of sludge upon request of contractor. Government will not provide any material handling equipment. Wage Determination NY 94-2367 applies. Contractor will be notified prior to start of work how many beds shall be removed. Responses which do not include required submittals will be considered non-responsive and not eligible for award. Pre-Proposal conference is scheduled TUES, JAN 23, 2001 at 13:00, at Watervliet Arsenal, Building 10, second floor, Product Assurance and Purchasing Conference Room.
