Description

ENGINEERING SERVICES to perform the Gas Grain Generator Surveillance Test. The contractor shall perform inspection and functional testing on a total of 40 each MK 6 Mod 4 Gas Generators selected from USAF/USN inventory. The tests shall be conducted in such a way that the results can be compared directly with lot acceptance test data and previously collected data. The contractor shall provide the following test results: 1) Pressure-time plots, 2) Acceptance test parameter data sheets, 3) Pressure-time integrals, 4) Acceptance test final report, 5) Inspection and radiographic examination results. The proposed contract action is sole source to Primex Technologies. The approximate issue date of the solicitation will be 26 January 01. Written procedures will be used for this solicitation. All potential offerors should contact the buyer/PCO identified above to for additional information and/or to communicate concerns, if any, concerning this acquisition. If your concerns are not satisfied by the contracting officer, an Ombudsman has been appointed to hear serious concerns that are not resolved through established channels. The purpose of the Ombudsman is not to diminish the authority of the program director or contracting officer, but communicate serious contractor concerns, issues, disagreement, and recommendations to the appropriate government personnel. When requested, the Ombudsman will maintain strict confidentiality as to the source of the concern. The Ombudsman does not participate in the evaluation of proposals in the source selection process.
