Description

The Naval Research Laboratory has a requirement for (1)Fujikura S012010 Optical fiber splicer kit with full automatic operation once fibers are set with core-to-core profile alignment, theta axis rotation mechanism for splicing polarization maintaining fiber, splicing time <45 sec with SM/MM fibers, <110 sec with PM fibers, short cleaved length-Bare fiber clamping <10mm, coating clamping <5mm, high tensile strength splicing capability >28N, simultaneous observation and alignment of both X view and Y view and diagnostic self-test function. Full specification to be provided with solicitation package. Brand name or equal. See Note (1). Block 10 to be determined at issuance of RFQ. RFQ will not be issued on our web page until the 16th day after this notice appears in the CBD.
