Description

Work consists of providing all labor, equipment, materials, transportation, quality control and supervision necessary to provide a Central Irrigation Control System (CICS) which will enable the Grounds Supervisor to monitor and control all of the systems either independently in the field or from one centralized location. The system shall include the following features: Central Controller, remote access to central functions, weather station, cluster control unit with radio links, cellular telephone interface, field satellite controllers, flow sensors, flow monitors, master valves, and radio antennas. Request For Proposal will be issued on or about 30 Jan 01. Request For Proposal will close on or about 30 Feb 01. Performance period is 150 calendar days after issuance of Notice to Proceed. The anticipated contract will be awarded on a Price Performance Trade-Off basis. The acquisition is open competition for large and small business in accordance with the Small Business Competitive Demonstration Program. The Request For Proposal is available only on the Internet at http://www.eps.gov.
