Description

Repair Fire Sprinkler System Bldg 233. This acquisition is for the replacement of the under-roof sprinkler system with a wet-pipe sprinkler system. It includes upgrading the low level AFFF systems by replacing tanks, discharge nozzles, sprinkler risers and controls. The work of this contract can be summarized as follows: 1. Mechanical: Demolition and upgrade of the fire suppression systems for Building 233 Hangar area. 2. Electrical: Demolition and upgrade of the controls for the fire suppression systems for Building 233 Hangar area. Construction: Estimated Range $500,000 and $1,000,000 Performance Period 180 days The approximate issue/response date will be 24 JAN 2001. Electronic procedure will be used for this solicitation.
