PRESOLICITATION -- HOUSING LANDSCAPE AND IRRIGATION, NAVAL AIR STATION NORTH ISLAND, CORONADO, CALIFORNIA This is a Firm Fixed Price construction contract. The work includes all labor, materials and equipment necessary to construct landscaping and irrigation facilities in Naval Air Station North Island Coronado, California. -- Estimated cost is between $250,000 to $500,000. -- Contract to be awarded to the responsible offeror whose proposal will be most advantageous to the Government considering Past Performance, Technical Expertise and Price, with possible oral presentation. -- The Government reserves the right to award to other than the proposer submitting the lowest price. A site visit and preproposal conference will be scheduled at a later date. Time and place will be identified in the RFP. -- This is not a public bid opening. -- Procurement is set aside for Small Business. -- The North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) Code is 23493 and the annual size standard is $27.5 million. -- Any suggestions or comments to streamline the solicitation process is welcome and must be forwarded to Julie Torres at torresjb@efdsw.navfac.navy.mil or by fax at (619) 556-8929 no later than 31 January 2001. -- Solicitation will be limited to electronic medium and will be available around February 2001 at http://esol.navfac.navy.mil.
