Description

Work consists of furnishing and installing approximately 120 ea 40' timber piles; 76 ea 50' timber piles; 240 LF of 36" corrugated aluminum pipe; 720 LF of 48" corrugated aluminum pipe; 4 ea 36" diameter water control combination gates; 2 ea 48" diameter water control combination gates; 10 ea 48" diameter canal water control gates; 7,910 SY of geotextile; 1,020 TN of rockfill; and construct approximately 10,540 LF of earthen embankment. Work will be accomplished in existing oil field canals in Plaquemines Parish, Louisiana. For site showing everyone must furnish their own boat. Ensuing contract will be awarded as a firm fixed price contract under NAIC 234990. Estimated performance time is 299 calendar days. This solicitation is not set-aside Estimated cost is between $1,000,000 and $5,000,000. Solicitation packages should be ready for distribution on or about January 25, 01.
