Description

The Navy requests industry feedback regarding the Statement of Work (SOW) defining the requirements for performance of Ship Alteration (SHIPALT) number SSN A4247K. The Statement of Work can be downloaded at www.crane.navy.mil/supply/announce.htm. This SHIPALT affects the SSN 688 (Los Angeles) Class Submarines Platforms and includes the planning and coordinating for the installation of newly designed cables for the Countermeasure Set Acoustic (CSA) MK 2 MOD 1 System. Suggestions and comments received will be used to finalize the SOW prior to issuing the formal solicitation for competitive offers. All suggestions/comments shall be submitted in written form via email or fax NLT 17 Jan 01.
