Description

Notice of intent to award contract DTCG80-00-P-3FA697 on a sole source basis to Appleton Marine, Inc. under the authority of FAR 6.302-1. The requirement is for (2) Model BMD-471, Revision 1, Cross Deck Winch in accordance with Shipalt ECR-72. Expected delivery date is 3/31/01. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 333923 with small business size standard of 500 employees. Numbered Note #1. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the request or submit a quote. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive quotes. However all quotes received after the date of publication of this synopsis will be considered by the government. A determination by the government not to compete with the proposed contract upon responses to this notice is solely with the discretion of the government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. No telephone requests will be accepted.
