Description

1. NSN 1005-01-391-5096. This solicitation is for a firm fixed price contract with a 100% option which may or may not be exercised at the discretion of the gvoernment. Quantities of 6 ea to be deliverd to New Cumberland, PA within 400 days. All responsible sources may submit and offer/quote which shallbe considered. FAT I-44 is required. Govt testing leadtime is 120 days, submission of 2 ea samples within 90 days to Elgin AFB. Waived source is General Dynamics (05606). 2. Item description: transfer unit, ammunition. 3. Requests for hard copies of this solicitation will not be accepted. 6. The small business size standard is 500 employees 7. Specifications or drawings are not available. 8. This acquisition is for supplies for whicht he government does not possess complete, unrestricitve, technical data; therefore, the government intends to solicit and contract with only approved sources under the authority of 10 u.s.c. 2304(c)(1). 9. While price may be a significant factor in the evaluation of fofers, the final award decision will be based upon a combination of price, delivery, past performance and other evaluation factors as described in the solicitation.
