Description

The Department of Veterans Affairs Medical Center, Hampton, Virginia requires services for radiology transcription from the date of contract award through 9/30/01 with the option to renew through 9/30/02. This requirement is set aside for small business only. The NAICS code is 561410 with the size standard of $5million. Requirements are for the contractor to access the VA Dictaphone Enterprise Express transcription system. Information will then be transcribed and downloaded into the Medical Center computer database. Any estimated long distance phone charges are to be built into the contract price and will be the responsibility of the contractor. A 24 hour turn-around time from dictation to download is mandatory. Requests MUST be in writing and may be faxed to 757-728-3132. This solicitation is an RFP and will be evaluated on the offerors proof of capability to perform the contract per the requirements as well as price.
