Description

The smoke detectors shall be photoelectric type and conform with the applicable requirements of Underwriters Laboratories Inc. UL 217, Single and Multiple Station Smoke Detectors; and shall have the following characteristics: Application -- Residential. Power-9 volt alkaline dry battery (ANSI/NEDA C18.1 Number 1640A) shall be included. Circuitry -- Solid state throughout. Mounting -- Ceiling/wall mounting with appropriate hardware, screws, and mounting plates included. Validation -- Test capability for smoke sensing and alarm with automatic reset.. Estimated 1-year quantity is 3,081 ea. FOB Destination to various delivery points within the Continental United States. Inspection at destination. The standing quote period is March 1, 2001, or date of award, whichever is later, through February 28, 2002.
