Description

The U.S. Army, TACOM-ARDEC requires the contractor to perform modeling, design, fabrication, testing and analysis functions in support of the development of warhead concepts. TACOM-ARDEC intends to evaluate/enhance warhead concepts that are near tactical in weight and configuration. Of interest are concepts that successfully exploit the strengths of commercially viable liner materials, explosives and other critical components to increase warhead penetration, performance at built-in standoff, and if feasible, at longer standoffs. Only concepts whose feasibility has been demonstrated by results that show promise of achieving break-through performance will be considered.
