Description

The Great Lakes Acquisition Center intends on negotiating a sole source contract with AGFA Corporation of Lockport, IL to purchase two AGFA IMPAX diagnostic review stations for the Hines VA Hospital in Hines, IL. These diagnostic review stations utilize AGFA's proprietary PAC (Picture, Archiving, and Communications) system. Justification: The Government believes that it is necessary to purchase equipment which exclusively utilizes PAC in order to insure compatibility between medical centers and to protect the integrity of the entire system. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive quotes or proposals. Other sources that believe they can meet the VA needs must furnish product information and references to this office no later than 2:00 pm on January 12, 2001. Oral communications are not acceptable. All information shall be furnished at no cost or obligation to the Government.
