Description

Notice of intent to negotiate a sole source contract with the Oregon Dept of Geological & Mineral Industries (DOGAMI) for the NOAA/Pacific Marine Environmental Lab (PMEL). Purpose of proposed contract is to provide a five-state tsunami warning systems workshop. The DOGAMI will design, develop, and implement the Local Tsunami Warning System for at-risk coastal communities in California, Alaska, Hawaii, Oregon, and Washington. Workshop to be held is a congressionally mandated effort led by NOAA in partnership with FEMA, the USGS, and the five Pacific States. DOGAMI is responsible for addressing Emergency Management and Scientific/Technical interests of the State of Oregon.
