Description

Background "DESCRIPTION: Argon Ion Laser System, see attached specification sheet for technical characteristics. This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This item is prepared in accordance with (IAW) the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, this announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Solicitation F33601-00-T-1115 is a Request for Quotations (RFQ). This solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 97-19. Solicitation provision at FAR 52.212-1(Mar 2000), Instructions to Offerors-Commercial are hereby incorporated by reference. Solicitation provisions at FAR 52.212-2 Evaluation Commercial Items are hereby incorporated by reference. Evaluation criteria to be included in paragraph (a) of provision 52.212-2 are as follows: 1)Technical 2)Past Performance and Price are equal. Price: Line item 0001 -- Price will be submitted on the entire requirement. The schedule that the offeror may use to submit a price proposal is also attached. All offerors shall include with their offers a completed copy of provision 52.212-3, Offeror Representations and Certification Commercial Items (also enclosed). Clause 52.212-4, Contract Terms and Conditions, Commercial Items (May 99), is hereby incorporated by reference.
