- Description
- The project is located at Wright-Patterson Air Force Base, Ohio. Consists of demolition of the existing parking apron and design and construction of a new parking apron. New apron will be approximately 930 meters long by 158 meters wide, and will include asphalt shoulders approximately 15 meters wide. Project base will include a new hydrant fueling system which will reutilize the existing pump houses. In addition, project will include new lighting and an intrusion detection system. Project requires architectural, structural, civil, mechanical, electrical, telecommunications, geotechnical, and fire protection design and construction. The project has two options: Option #1, Type III Hydrant Fueling System, and Option #2, Relocate and replace airfield lighting. This solicitation is a Request for Proposal (RFP). NAICS Code is 234990 (SIC Code 1629). The proposals will be evaluated on the following criteria: Price, Experience and Past Performance, Technical Approach, Project Organization, Past Safety Performance and Subcontracting Plan. Estimated cost is $10,000,000.00 to $25,000,000.00. The SIC code is 1629. THIS IS NOT A SMALL BUSINESS SET-ASIDE, THIS IS AN UNRESTRICTED PROJECT. Solicitation DACA27-01-R-0007 will be issued approximately 11 January 2001 and receipt of proposals will be approximately 12 February 2001 at 4:30 P.M.(local time). There will be a Pre-Proposal Conference for which the date will be announced later on the website. This project is available on CD ROM and the Internet. Project files are Portable Document Format (PDF) files and can be viewed, navigated, or printed using Adobe Acrobat Reader (available on CD). The drawing files are in CAL format and can be viewed, navigated, or printed using Source View Reader. Both readers are contained in the solicitation package. System requirements are: 486-based personal computer, Microsoft Windows 3.1 or greater, 8 MB application RAM, 4 MB hard disk space, and compact disk drive.
