Description

This synopsis is for the procurement of Non-DoD Flight Information Publications for the month of February, 2001. The National Imagery and Mapping Agency (NIMA) is responsible for producing all Flight Information Publications (FLIPs) for the Department of Defense (DoD). FLIPs contain graphic and textual descriptions of airspace, air facility data, flight information, airport operating procedures and related data. These publications are printed in the form of books and charts depicting information concerning planning, departure, enroute and terminal phases of flight. Non-DoD FLIPs is defined as any commercially or foreign government produced flight information publications or related material not produced by NIMA or listed in the Defense Mapping Agency (DMA) (now known as NIMA) catalog. Quintessential regions of coverage include but are not limited to: Africa, Atlantic, Alaska, Australasia, Caribbean, China, Canada, Europe, Far East, Middle East, Middle East/South Asia, Mexico, Latin America, South America, North Sea, Pacific, Spain and Scandinavia. This is an ongoing monthly requirement, and NIMA intends to award this requirement for the month of February, 2001, to Jeppesen-Sanderson, Inc. See Note 22.
