Description

Desc: This requirement is being procured in accordance with FAR 12, Acquisition of Commercial Items and an award will be made in accordance with FAR Par 13, Simplified Acquisition Procedures. The U.S. Department of National Energy Technology Laboratroy (NETL), Pittsburgh, PA 15236 intends to issue a Request for Quotations to furnish cylinder gases and services in accordance with the current Statement of Work to the Albany Research Center located at the U.S. Department of Energy, Albany Research Center, 1450 Queen Ave., SW, Albany, OR 97321. The contractor shall furnish supplies or services if and when requested by the Albany Research Center. The proposed purchase order is 100% set-aside for Small Business concerns with a Size Standard of 500 employees. Evaluation is based on best value including cost and ability to meet stated requirements. Tentative issue date for RFQ is on or about December 28, 2000. A firm fixed priced purchase order will be issued. Anticipated award will be on or about January 23, 2001. Request for RFQ, with the detailed specifications and statement of work, shall be in writing, stating RFQ number S0100086, complete, company name, point of contact, address, area code and telephone number, and facsimile number.
