Description

The Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division, Lakehurst (NAWCADLKE) intends to negotiate a sole source contract with the Bell-Boeing Joint Program Office, Patuxent River MD, under authority of 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1), implemented by FAR 6.302-1 with an approved Justification and approval to follow this announcement. This requirement is to provide production copies of CASS OTPS's and provide OSV. Two Options are also being requested; Option 1 to rehost these CASS OTPSs from CASS stations to RTCASS stations and Option 2 for the production of 4 additional OTPS sets for the CV-22. Option 2 will also include OSV. The NAWCADLKE does not own nor has taken possession of the required OTPS software and hardware, specifications, drawings, and other related data to permit full and open competition. Items to be produced/rehosted by this procurement include 22 WRA and 1 SRA OTPS First Article Test Units . Issuance of the solicitation is projected by 15 February 2001 or sooner with a closing date approximately 30 days thereafter. The NAWCADLKE is anticipating a Cost Plus Fixed Fee type contract.
