Description

The Southern Arizona VA Health Care System, Tucson, Arizona intends to negotiate a commercial item, sole source contract with Nycomed Amersham Imaging for diagnostic radiopharmaceuticals to be delivered daily to the Nuclear Medicine Service at the Northern Arizona VA Health Care System, Prescott, Arizona. The contractor is to provide credit for unused patient doses and removal of waste. The contract is for a base year with two one-year options. The proposed contract is for commercial supplies for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 6.302. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit proposals. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposal. However, the government will consider all proposals received within fourteen days after the date of publication. A determination by the government not to compete is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
