Document Type: Presolicitation Notice Solicitation Number: Reference Number FO4689-96-C-0001 Posted Date: 26 December 2000 Response Date: 12 February 2001 Archive Date: 27 February 2001 Classification Code: M -- Operation of Government-owned Facilities Contracting office Address: 50 CONS Description: M-PRE-SOLICITATION NOTICE: The 21st SOPS Contracting Office at Onizuka Air Force Station, CA (OAFS) has requested a proposal from Raytheon Systems Company (RSC), 1080 Lockheed Martin Way, Sunnyvale CA 94089 to extend its current Civil Engineering Services contract F04689-96-C-0001 for a six month period beginning 01 April 2001 through 30 September 2001. The proposal response date is not later than 12 February 2001 and the anticipated award date will be 31 March 2001. Also, the 21st SOPS Contracting Office has issued contractual notice to proceed for the renovation of the 3rd floor of Building 1003 at OAFS. The authority for these actions is 10 U.S.C. 2304 (c)(1), as implemented by FAR 6.302-1, only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. No formal Request for Proposal is available. This notice is not a request for competitive proposals. However, the Government will consider all proposals received within forty-five (45) calendar days from the date of first publication of this synopsis. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. The information received will be reviewed solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. Specifications, plans, or drawings relating to the procurement described are incomplete or not available and cannot be furnished by the Government. The Government will not pay for any information submitted in response to this synopsis.
