Description

The National Naval Medical Center (NNMC) Bethesda, MD intends to award a sole-source procurement to Linvatec Corporation for Microchoice Electric Powered Surgical Drill/Saw System. The system must consist of an electrically powered, variable speed, programmable surgical drill and saw system, the system must include the programmable power source, with display for device in use and programed or operating power. Shall also include assorted handpieces for attachment to the unit, providing the capability to cut, burr and drill bones of the human anatomy. System must include blades, burrs, bits and tips designed specifically for use with the handpieces which will be operating at extremely high revolutions. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed purchase order based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive prourement.
