This is original manufacturer installed and most of the service work on these elevators has been completed by kone' THERE WILL NOT BE A SOLICITATION ISSUED..THIS IS A NOTICE OF OUR INTENTION TO AWARD THIS TO KONE' IN THE AMOUNT OF $5,571.00 FOR THE FIRST YER AND OPTION YEARS TO BE EXERCISED PROVIDING THERE IS ACCEPTABLE PERFORMANCE BY THE COTRACTOR FOR THE FOLLOWING AMOUNTS YR2 OPT $5763.00,YR3 OPT: $5967.60, YR4 OPT: $6176.40,YR5 OPT:$6392.40. SCOPE OF WORK FOR MONITORING/OPERATIONS/MAINTENANCE. this project involves operation and maintenance of, as well as modifications to, the three elevators installed at Mount Rushmore National Memorial. the intention of this advertisement is to award a one-year contract with th eoption to renew the period of service for four additional years. This work includes the review and interpretation of electronically operated elevators and detrmine if 1) all components are operating properly, and 2) properly functioning according to original manufacturers installation requirements. The contractor will perform the repair and maintenance of this equipment and system in its entirety. This is a firm fixed price contract for a period of one year. It is anticipated that the (NPS) may have interest in renewing this contract one-year at a time for a period of four additional years.Contractrenewal options will depend on successful negotiation and available funding.
