Description

AMENDMENT TO CBD POSTED 5OCT00: Release of the DRAFT/FINAL Request for Proposal (RFP) has been delayed. The DRAFT RFP for industry comments is now anticipated to be released FEB/MAR01; and (2) the FINAL RFP is now anticipated to be released APR/MAY01. Release of the DRAFT RFP is not a formal solicitation and there is no intent to award a contract based on its release or information provided. This extended time does not apply to the requirement date for pre-qualification procedures and demonstration. A bidder's list will be posted. Only those contractors who have conducted the required demonstration will be considered as a viable offeror for contract award. In addition, offerors must have personnel cleared at the Top Secret (TS) level with eligibility for access to Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI), and must possess a Defense Security Service (DSS) Top Secret Facility clearance with Top Secret Safeguarding Capability or have a Sensitive Compartmented Information Facility (SCIF) accredited by a U.S. Government Agency for performance upon award. The bidder's list will be available electronically at the following public NIMA web site in JAN01: http://164.214.2.59.poc/contracts.html. The DRAFT and FINAL RFP's will be posted thereafter. Only those contractors who are considered as a viable offeror will be provided a user ID and password for access to the BIG IDEA web site as part of the FINAL RFP release.
