Description

The Naval Air Warfare Center Weapons Division, Point Mugu, CA 93042 intends to procure on an other than full and open competition basis from Raytheon Company, dba Raytheon Systems Company, Sensors & Electronic Sys-North, 2000 East Imperial Hwy, El Segundo, CA 90245, Technical Engineering Services to the F-14 Weapon System Support Activity (WSSA) for F-14 aircraft radar systems. Raytheon is the sole designer, developer and manufacturer of the primary sensor, its radar, in all F-14 models. Specifically, these sensors are the AN/AWG-9 Weapons Control System (WCS) in the F-14A and F-14B models and the AN/APG-71 radar in the F-14 model. Scope of work includes design and development of radar system enhancements to provide for new tactical capabilities, maintenance of radar instrumentation for NAWCWD F-14 flight-test aircraft and laboratories, maintenance and repair of radar assets in the NAWCWD Systems Integration and Test Station (SITS) and Weapons Systems Integration Center (WSIC), Analytical support of NAWCWD data reduction operations for Raytheon Systems Company designed instrumentation, and support radar and radar interface Operational Flight Program (OFP) performance testing by providing test data in engineering units for analysis. The proposed contract type is an indefinite delivery -- indefinite quantity (IDIQ) Cost Plus Fixed-Fee (CPFF). Tasks will be ordered on individual task orders under the resulting contract. Period of performance will be for 36 months from 1 February, 2001or date of award, whichever is later. See Notes (22) and (26).
