Description
***Note -- This RFI #F41999-01-R-6002 replaces previously submitted RFI #F41999-01-R-6000, dated 16 Nov 00. The Air Force Services Agency Financial Accounting Branch (Agency) is actively pursuing information about web based accounting software using Microsoft access and/or visual basic as a front-end on a Microsoft windows NT 4.0/2000 client/server platform using Microsoft SQL 7.0 as the database back-end. The accounting software shall include modules for general ledger, fixed assets, inventory, accounts payable, accounts receivable, banking, and payroll. The accounting software shall be accessible from a central site via the internet/intranet by 800 concurrent users. The accounting software source code for all modules shall be included and all of the accounting software database tables shall be accessible and modifiable. We would like prospective software vendors to provide information and costs associated with their particular system to enable the Agency to replace the current NonAppropriated Fund (NAF) Standard Field Accounting System. An overview of our current processes and funtions is available upon written request. If you would like to receive the overview electronically, please provide your e-mail address to the Agency POC at e-mail address given below. The pricing information should include both software costs as well as all costs associated with implementation, training, and maintenance. We do not expect these costs to be exact, but rather "ballpark" figures to assist us in our budgetary process. The prospective vendor need only provide standard pricing of resources used for these efforts as the duration of the implementation is unknown at this time. It is also requested that prospective vendors provide the optimal hardware configurations required for their software. Descriptive literature and information must be received by AFNAF Purchasing Office no later than 31 Jan 2001. This is a nonappropriated fund Request for Information (RFI). This RFI does not obligate appropriated funds of the United States Government. Nonappropriated funds are generated by the military community through the sale of goods and services and the collection of fees and charges for participation in military community programs. This project does not involve federal tax dollars. "See Note(s)22"
