Description

The Naval Air Station Pensacola intends to negotiate under authority of FAR 6.302-1 with Career Guidance Foundation, San Diego, CA for 45 CD-ROM sets, "College Source." This is a complete catalog text on 3600 colleges plus two-year and four-year graduate schools. It includes complete course descriptions, academic policies, faculty information, financial aid and the academic calendar. Includes an instant search feature that quickly finds the college of choice. Table of contents and indexes are completely hyperlinked. Each college text should include information on majors, tuition, state, enrollment, degrees, affiliation, accreditation details, college address and phone number. It contains SAT-ACT requirements and other admission standards for each college. (6 CD-ROM per set). Vendors believing they can provide a similar product may submit a written response within 15 days of the publication date. No contract will be made on the basis of offers/proposals received in response to this notice. Written responses must include pricing and information sufficient to enable the government to determine if a solicitation will be issued. If a solicitation is issued no additional synopsis will be published. Award will be made under Simplified Acquisition Procedures. Numbered Note 22 applies except 15 days vice 45 days response time.
