Description

This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested an a written solicitation will not be issued. The solicitation incorporates provisions and clauses in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 90-41. Solicitation Number N00167-01-Q-0034 is hereby issued as a request for quotation (RFQ). The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code for this procurement is 333512 and the size standard is 500 employees. This is a 100% small business set-aside. Required Items: CLIN 0001- 2EA Hemispherical Head, HY-100 Steel Per MIL-S-16216K, 1-5/8" Nominal wall thickness X 96" I.D., No straight flange or bevel required. Center hole ok to facilitate Mfg. Delivery is required F.o.B. Destination to NSWCCD, 9500 MacArthur Blvd.,Bethesda,MD 20817, within 30 days ARO. Selection for award will be based on lowest price and past performance. The following FAR Provisions and Clauses apply to this Solicitation and are incorporated by reference: FAR 52.212-1 Instructions to Offerors-Commercial Items (Oct 1995); FAR 52 212-4 contract Terms and Conditions -- Commercial Items (Aug 1996) FAR 52.212-5 Contract Terms and Conditions Required to Implement Statutes or Executive Orders.
