Description: This is a combine synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; price quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This solicitation (F26600-01-QA002) is issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ). The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 97-12. The SIC for this solicitation is 2273. This is being solicited unrestricted. The item description is as follows. Offeror shall quote on the following item: 2,255 sq. yds SHAW CUSTOM CARPET TILES, 18" X 18", NEW MOON (#6845J)OR EQUAL, COLOR: SHADOW OR EQUAL, SALIENT CHARACTERISTICS: 26 OZ., 100% NYLON, ERGOFLEX BACKING (CUSHION), TO INCLUDE ADHESIVE. MATERIAL & FREIGHT ONLY, NO INSTALLATION. Price quotes shall be submitted by 4:00 p.m. (Pacific), 07 DEC 00 to 99th Contracting Squadron, 5865 Swaab Blvd. Nellis AFB, NV 89191, attention SANDEE ALLEN. Price quotes may be sent by facsimile at (702) 652-9570. Item shall be in good condition (as determined by the Government) and meet all applicable construction and safety codes. The provision at FAR 52.212-1, Instruction of Offerors-Commercial, applies to this solicitation. The clause at FAR 52.212-2, Evaluation of Commercial items, applies to this solicitation. Award will be made to the responsible, responsive offeror whose offer will result in the best value to the Government. The clause at FAR 52.212-4 Contract Terms and Conditions-Commercial items applies to this solicitation. The clause at FAR 52.212-5, Contract Terms and Conditions Required to Implement Statues or Executive Orders-Commercial items, applies to this solicitation. The following clauses also apply to this solicitation: FAR 52.232-33 Payment by Electronic Funds Transfer. DFAR 252.204-7004 Required Central Contract Registration.
