Description

The Internal Revenue Service (IRS) intends to issue a Request for Quotation (RFQ) for consultation services to support the improvement and further development of the Statistics of Income Library. The contractor shall provide expert advice, assistance, guidance and/or counseling on methodologies for inventory volume control, space management, collection of new reference materials and system analysis for the design and installation for circulation and cataloging systems. This acquisition will be conducted in accordance with FAR Part 13, Simplified Acquisition Procedures. After all quotes/proposals have been rated against the technical evaluation criteria identified in the RFQ, a purchase order shall be awarded to the contractor whose offer best conforms to the requirements of the RFQ and represents the best overall value to the government, price and technical qualifications considered. All interested and responsible parties have 15 days from the published date of this announcement to request a copy of the RFQ.
