Description

COMMERCIAL ITEM: The project is for the inspection and repairs needed on 28 Government-owned Wanderer, Starcraft, and Playmor RV trailers. The Forest Service will deliver and pick up trailers to vendor's (s') shop beginning 1-2 days after contract award. If the trailers have accumulated snow, the Forest Service has no means to remove it. The vendors will need to provide for removal of snow. Trailers will be towed up to 25 miles one-way by the Forest Service. If the distance to the Contractor's business is more than 25 miles one-way, then the contractor would be responsible for having the trailer hauled, not towed. After all system checks are complete, the trailers will be winterized using air instead of anti-freeze. Anti-freeze will be poured down the drains to prevent traps from freezing. This is set-aside for small business. This is expected to be between $100,000 and $250,000 including option years. This project consists of a base year and four option years.
