Description

U.S Army CECOM intends to award a 5 year Firm Fixed Price, Indefinite Delivery /Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) type contract for the purchase of Inter-Communication Systems (ICS), C-1174B(V)3/ARC, NSN: 5895-01-430-8725, for a maximum quantity of 860 ea; C-11746C(V)3/ARC, NSN:5895-01-454-3555 for a maximum quantity of 1,180ea; and J-Box, ICS Audio, Special, NSN: 6615-01-394-1825, for a maximum quantity of 285ea. This is a sole source procurement per FAR 6.302-1(b)(1). Only one responsible source. Telephonics Corporation, 815 Broad Hollow Road, Farmingdale, NY 11735, is the only source capable of meeting program requirements utilizing the ICS technology. The Government does not possess the technical data for the ICS and Telephonics is the manufacturer. However, all responsible sources may submit a proposal, which shall be considered. It is requested that any such source notify the Contracting Officer of their intent to submit a proposal. The solicitation package will be posted on the Interagency Interactive Business Opportunities Page (IBOP).
