Description

The work includes furnishing all labor, tools, materials, and equipment to replace the existing 50 kW diesel engine-generator in the UPH building with a new 100 kW diesel engine-generator furnished by the Government. Other electrical work and demolition work as specified. In addition, the contractor shall remove the existing 20 kW diesel engine-generator, automatic transfer switch and 75-gallon day tank from the lift station building. The existing electrical loads in the lift station building presently connected to the 20 kW generator being removed as well as the security and fire alarm panels in the firing range building shall be placed on the new UPH generator via the new emergency panel in the lift station building. Provide a new underground feeder from the UPH generator room to the Station Miami Beach building for the two new emergency panels in this building. Provide two new enclosed breakers in the generator room for the two new feeders. There is no charge for the Request for Quotation (RFQ) package. No telephone requests shall be accepted. All requests for this package must be in writing. Requests may be faxed to 305-278-6696. This RFQ is being issued as a Small Business Set-Aside. The estimated price range is between $25,000.00 and $100,000.00. The applicable North American Industry Class System (NAICS) Code is 235310. The small business size standard is a three-year averaged annual gross receipt of $11.5M. The contract performance period is 60 calendar days. Payment Bond is required prior to issuance of Notice to Proceed. All responsible sources may submit a quote, which will be considered by this agency.
