Description

The Naval Air Systems Command has a requirement and intends to issue a modification under contract N00019-99-D-0110 with Litton Guidance and Control Systems (LGCS), 19601 Nordhoff Street, Northridge, CA 91324-2422, to add non-recurring effort to develop, deliver and install Software Version 105 for the S-3B Aircraft Navigation Interface Unit and to retrofit this software into existing units. This effort includes engineering design, software development and test, support of Navy testing, and delivery of required technical data. This action will be negotiated on a sole source basis with LGCS under statutory authority of FAR 6.302-1 (only one responsible source and no other services will satisfy agency requirements), as LGCS is the only company which possesses the necessary technical expertise, engineering drawings and data to provide the services in the required timeframe.
