Description

Furnish all labor, materials, tools, equipment and supervision to perform Project #044-01-A, GSA Canopy, in accordance with the solicitation. Work will be performed at the U.S. General Services Administration Building, 1619 Woodward Street, Austin, TX. This work consists of installing a pitched standing seam metal canopy over an existing covered walkway, which has a flat roof. The contractor will also provide metal trusses to support the canopy and create the pitch. Canopy is approximately 10,000-11,000 S.F. Shop drawings are required. Color must match existing. Offerors are encouraged to visit the site. Visits must be scheduled with Mr. Dan Raye, at (214) 869-2255 and may only be conducted 8am-5pm local time, Monday through Thursday except federal holidays. Cost range for this project is between $25,000 and $100,000. All work will be completed within 90 calendar days after receipt of Notice to Proceed. NAICS Code 235610, Construction, Special Trade Contractors -- Roofing, Siding and Sheet Metal Contractors, applies to this acquisition and has a small business size standard of $7 million. However, in accordance with PL. 100-656, this acquisition is unrestricted as to business size. No offer guarantee is required. Contractor will be required to submit payment protection equal to 100% of the bid price. No performance bond will be required. Solicitation documents will be available on or about 11/29/00.
