Description

The purpose of this notice is to modify previously issued CBD notice 20213-99. The Naval Air System Command (NAVAIRSYSCOM) intends to negotiate and award a sole source, firm-fixed price contract to Frisby Aerospace, Clemmons, NC. This contract will procure approximately 420 Wing Sweep Motors, non-recurring engineering, sustaining engineering, logistics support, provisional items, spares, repairs, and technical data. Frisby Aerospace purchased the technical drawings and data rights for the F-14 aircraft wing sweep motors from Honeywell Defense and Space on October 1, 2000; therefore Frisby is the only known commercial source able to produce the F-14 aircraft wing sweep motors.
