Description: Maintain and Repair an installed Intrusion Detection System/ Access Control System manufactured by Vikonics at Whiteman AFB, Missouri. Work consists of, but is not limited to, inspection, maintenance, testing, parts and repair. The contractor is required to be certified/trained in the maintenance, installation and servicing of the Vikonics Inc., Automated Entry Control System (AECS)/Intrusion Detection System (IDS). The performance period of this contract is anticipated to be a base period of one (1) year with (4) four option years. The NAICS code for this acquisition is 561621. The size standard for small business is $9.0 million. The solicitation will be issued on an unrestricted basis. Evaluation will based on the Performance Price Tradeoff (PPT) procedures IAW FAR Part 15- Contracting by Negotiation. No paper copies of this solicitation will be available. The solicitation will be distributed on the Electronic Posting System (EPS) Internet site only ( http://www.eps.gov) on or about 08 November, 2000. All contractors must be registered in the Department of Defense Central Contract Registration (CCR) Database prior to any contract award with the Government.
