Description
Contractor is to furnish all necessary labor, materials, tools, and equipment to repair/replace existing blast room grit recovery transport system components at USCG Base Charleston, South Carolina. Shop drawings show the general requirements as to sizes, arrangement, extent of ductwork and floor pit sections, and location of equipment. The contractor shall verify all existing dimensions, locations and routing. Provide system complete and ready for use. Contractor is to remove left side floor section and provide solid walk plate over pit. Provide galvanized steel angle and attach to pit side wall to support walk plate. Replace right side floor section with pipe style recover floor section. Provide right sidewalk floor plate to fill section beside new recovery floor section. Replace elbow at tend o floor section with heavy duty elbow. Replace vertical duct with heavy duty duct. Replace elbow at top of vertical duct with heavy duty elbow. Replace horizontal duct to reclaimer. Replace all dust collector bags. Unless otherwise indicated or specified herein, all work shall be accomplished in accordance with the written manufacturer_s recommendations and instructions. The existing Industrial Blast System is a Blast-It-All, Inc. Manufacturer_s Equipment Code Number 58166, and the Serial Number is S7120762. Contractor is also to provide instruction time for a minimum of four (4) hour. All interested small business concerns should send a written or faxed request to (305)278-6696.
