Description

The Naval Undersea Warfare Center Division, Newport has a requirement for engineering services for the advanced, exploratory and engineering development of transmitters and receiver subsystems, peripheral equipment and analysis in related areas. Transmitter subsystems include such things as power amplifiers, transmit beamformers, transducer arrays, waveform generators, etc. Receiver subsystems include, for example, active/passive towed arrays, non-acoustic sensors, receive beamformers ands broadband bearing time processing. Related analysis areas include ensonification of the ocean environment, measurement and analysis of acoustic/non-acoustic signals, identification and analysis of acoustic/non-acoustic emitters and emissions, acoustic/non-acoustic propagation and reverberation, scattering and noise phenomena. The estimated level of effort for the proposed 5 year Indefinite delivery/Indefinite Quantity (CPFF) contract is 85,000 hours. Key categories include Analyst III-10,000 hours, Electrical Engineer III-10,000 hours and Mechanical Engineer III-20,000 hours. A Best Value award methodology is being used with technical criteria of Personnel and Past Performance. This acquisition is being solicited on an unrestricted basis. NAICS code is 541330/$20 Million.
