Description

The DARPA Tactical Technology Office (DARPA/TTO) will host a two-day unclassified Technology Symposium for the Orbital Express Advanced Technology Demonstration (ATD) program for interested representatives of Companies, universities, laboratories and other agencies. Interested parties are invited to make a 30-minute presentation to the Joint DARPA Orbital Express team and other interested persons at a Technology Symposium, Wednesday, November 29, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Thursday, November 30, 8 a.m. to 12 noon in The Club, Building 120 at Los Angeles Air Force Base, El Segundo, CA. Interested attendees also can provide a display of appropriate technologies. Six-foot tables will be provided for displays. The Orbital Express program will define, design, develop, integrate and demonstrate on-orbit, a new space architecture enabling routine autonomous satellite servicing (preplanned electronics upgrade, refueling and reconfiguration of satellites) in the post-2010 timeframe that will support the broadest possible range of future U.S. national security, civil and commercial space programs.
