Description

Performance Period Basic period 1 Mar 2001 through 30 Sep 2001 with 4 one year options Anticipated Award Date 1 March 2001 Contractor shall provide all personnel, equipment, tools, materials, supervision, and other items/and or services necessary to perform calibration, maintenance and repair of Precision Measurement Equipment Laboratory (PMEL) services as defined in the Statement of work. The successful offeror will be selected based on a Performance Price Trade-Off (PPT) procedures. The contract will be awarded approximately 1 Mar 2001, with 4 option periods. The approximate issue/response date will be 24 NOV 2000. Electronic procedure will be used for this solicitation. See our Web page. An Ombudsman has been appointed to hear concerns from offerors or potential offerors during the proposal development phase of this acquisition. The purpose of the Ombudsman is not to diminish the authority of the program director or contracting officer, but to communicate contractor, concerns, issues, disagreements, and recommendations to the appropriate government personnel. When requested, the Ombudsman will maintain strict confidentiality as to the source of the concern. The Ombudsman does not participate in the evaluation of proposals or in the source selection process.
