- Description
- 30 CONS/LGCB is seeking commercial sources with the technical expertise to provide support services for the 576th Flight Test Squadron at Vandenberg AFB, CA. These services include Launch Facility Refurbishment, Equipment/Launch Facility Corrosion Treatment, Maintenance Programs Management, Training Management, Vehicle/Equipment Issue and Control, and Environmental Compliance Management. The Government's preliminary Statement of Need is available at www.fedbizopps.gov. A draft SOW is anticipated to be available at the same location on or about 15 Nov 00. The Government proposes to hold discussions with industry during the week of 4 through 8 Dec 00 for the purpose of conducting market research. The Government is soliciting information from offerors with technical expertise in the areas listed above to assist us in developing our requirement. Discussions may be held telephonically or in person, at the discretion of the potential offeror. In order to schedule a time for discussions, you must submit a written request. Your request must indicate any specific issues you wish to have addressed during these discussions, state whether you are a large or small business, and cite your area of expertise. If there is a reasonable expectation that two or more qualified small businesses will submit a proposal meeting the Government's requirement, any future acquisition for these services may be set-aside for small business. A site visit for potential offerors will be held on Tuesday, 5 December 2000 at 0900 hours.
