Description

The U. S. Postal Service is soliciting proposals from prequalified contractors for the renovation of the new Lake Arrowhead CA Main Post Office. The work consists of demolition of existing interior leased improvements (mechanical, electrical, plumbing, etc.) and the complete buildout of approximately 9,000 sq. ft. of lobby and workroom. The improvements include new interior finishes, mechanical systems, and electrical lighting and power. The work is to be completed in 270 days after notice to proceed. Estimated range is $500,000-$1,000,000. This is a leased facility. The proposal must contain the offeror's overhead, profit, bonds, insurance, and all other contingencies. No allowance for such items will be made after contract award. The minority subcontracting goal for this contract will be 5%. Offers will not be publicly opened.
