Description

Provide all labor, material, and equipment required for repair, replacement, or construction of new paved streets, parking areas, curbs and gutters, and associated storm drains. Generally the work is as follows: Expand the existing 55 family campground sites by adding 26 new sites to include a gravel access drive and individual site driveways constructed with the geo-grid and geotextile load support system. Each campsite is accompanied with an 8_x18_ concrete patio slab and picnic table. One campsite will be a handicapped accessible campsite with a concrete drive and access walks. Each campsite will have utility services; water, sewer, and electric. Each utility service will require a new distribution/collection system. A new electrical transformer will be provided. A new sewer lift station with force main and upgrade existing sewer concrete pad dump station will be provided. Upgrade 22 existing campsites along Rescue Road by providing a sewer gravity collection. Expand the wood structure laundry building with plumbing modification. Construct a storm water retention/detention pond. Period of performance is 150 calendar days after Notice to Proceed is issued. Solicitation issue date of 4 Dec 00 and closing date of 4 Jan 01 are tentative. The applicable NAICS Code and size standard for this acquisition are 233310/$27.5M. The estimated range of this project is between $500,000 and $1,000,000. The solicitation is unrestricted. AVAILABILITY OF THIS SOLICITATION WILL BE LIMITED TO ELECTRONIC MEDIUM ONLY. THE GOVERNMENT RESERVES THE RIGHT TO CANCEL THIS SOLICITAITON, EITHER BEFORE OR AFTER RFP CLOSING, WITH NO OBLIGATION TO THE OFFEROR BY THE GOVERNMENT.
