- Description
- THIS ANNOUNCEMENT REPLACES THE ANNOUNCEMENT ORIGINALLY SUBMITTED FOR SOLICITATION NUMBER RFP 544-047-00. Establishment of a Community Based Outpatient Clinic (CBOC). Contractor shall provide Primary Medical Care Services and Mental Health Care at their facility, to beneficiaries of the WJBD VA Medical Center that full fill the VA's healthcare delivery requirements, in accordance with all terms, conditions, and provisions of the solicitation. It is the VA's intention to solicit proposals on a competitive basis and award a contract that provides for a capitated rate method of payment. Veterans receiving services under this contract reside primarily in the catchment area of Florence, SC Consisting of Florence, Darlington, Marion, Chesterfield, Dillion Marlboro, and Williamsburg Counties. The CBOC Contractor's facility must be physically located in the city limits. The offeror/basic provider will be expected to sub-contract for any required service, that it does not provide, at no additional cost to the Government. The contract includes a Base Year (one year from date of award) plus 4 one-year renewal options that may be exercised at the option of the Government. The total duration of the contract will not exceed 5 years. This solicitation is issued as a commercial item in accordance with FAR Part 12 and shall be evaluated in accordance with FAR Part 15. 544-007-01 is advertised as full and open competition with NAICS: 62111 with the size standard of $5.0 million. The solicitation will be issued o/a 11/6/2000. Request for hardcopy solicitation must be in writing to the Contracting Officer and must be accompanied by a non-refundable cashier check or money order in the amount of $10.00 made out to the US Department of Veterans Affairs.
