Description

The USDA Forest Service, Northern Region is seeking A/E services, indefinite delivery indefinite quantity contracts for general design and design-related services in the Region, which consists of Montana, northern Idaho, and South Dakota. Several firms will be selected from this announcement. The anticipated work for the architectural services, which shall include all associated professional disciplines, such as electrical, mechanical, structural and civil engineering, are the preparation of complete design and construction documents including plans, specifications, cost estimates and construction services for various projects to include but not limited to the following: rehabilitation of existing or construction of new administrative, laboratory, residential and industrial buildings. Contracts may include the need for inspection services. In evaluating proposals, the following criteria will be applied: (1) professional qualifications necessary for satisfactory performance of required services; (2) specialized experience and technical competence in the type of work required; (3) capacity to accomplish work in the required time; (4) past performance on contracts with Government agencies and private industry in terms of cost control, quality of work and compliance with performance schedules; (5) location in the general geographic area of Regional Office, located in Missoula, Montana. The cumulative amount of all delivery orders for each contract is estimated not to exceed $250,000 per year, and each delivery order is estimated not to exceed $50,000. The term of these contracts shall be 1 year with two 1 year options.
