Description

Lodging, Hotel, for navy recruiting District Personnel for Awards/Training Conference to be held on 00 DEC 01. Hotel must be able to accommodate 221 Guest Rooms. The hotel should be a resort destination within the city limits of Orlando, Florida & within a 5-mile radius of major local attractions. The hotel should have easy accessiblity to major highways within 10 miniutes, & commute time to the Orlando International Airport within 20 minutes. Walking distance to local shops & restaurants should also be a consideration. A banquet/ballroom is required the evening of Friday, 12/1/00 between the hours of 1800 to 0200. The ballroom should be a minimum of 9,500 sqiare fppt & capable of seating no less than 500 people for a formal sit down dinner. Dining tables should be a table rounds arranged to seat 8 people at each table for a total of 63 table rounds. A meeting/conference room is required from 1200 -- 1700 the day of check-in. The meeting/conference should be arranged in atheater type set capable of seating up to 250 personnel and hae the ability to be partitioned off into individual training groups. Meeting/Conference rooms should include Audio-Visual, and computer receptacles, phone lines for internet access & Projection Screen made available.
